Hey guys,

So I’ve had this https://vimeo.com/202259593 project laying around for some time and I’ve practically given up on it since the renders took forever, but I’ve finally decided to give it another go since Octane kinda changed the game:) Anyway this is a quick animation I did with one of the most Iconic cars from former Yugoslavia, the YUGO, in all its economically designed, dirty and rusted glory:)

For those interested you can check out the full project on Behance - https://www.behance.net/gallery/48287301/Y-U-G-O

Technical stuff: Rendered in Octane 3.0 for 3ds max, average render time per frame was 4 minutes with path tracing at 4k samples, rendered in 1920 by 818 with 4x EVGA GTX 980 Ti Hybrid. Texturing done with Quixel Suite, premade human models from AXYZ Design.

Cheers!

Really dope! Love the concept, visual effects & music! Balkan horns & gnarly basslines ftw
