Hte orbx looks ine, but that is with abc file with mulit materila nodes.
The OBJ itself does only have one material, and therefsor is unusable.
Or I am missing something here.
The example shows an OBJ with more materials and mtl that assigns texture.
greetz,

Now we're talking! Great quality, thanks Jan. I'm not at my my PC right now but I'd be keen to see the file sizes of these babies. Hope they're reasonable.

Best,
Seeker

Hi Seeker,

we have updated some infos about size on our website http://www.allcity3dmodels.com/. Some models can be smaller, but we try to keep good detail. There is trick to get smaller size. When I export geometry from mudbox, I can get half size, but it doesn´t change anything. In fact a half of size is mapping coordinates. I usually use this models with titan 6 GB and I have no problem whit it.

Free model is now with max., ocs. file or c4d so feel free to test it. http://www.allcity3dmodels.com/en/ke-stazeni/

@rappet Did you try Riptide plugin in C4D to import-export obj with materials? I work in a franchise of 3d printers and this is the only way that I can manipulate OBJ with MTL in C4D...

No. Thanx for tip.
Most of the times I got correct OBJ with working MTL though. Or I just can manipulate the MTl files to make them work.
What can you do with the OBJ/MTL using Riptide plugin ?
