Hi,

Back to an old project revisited with Octane for coming "Saint Nicolas". Few will probably know what means "Saint Nicolas" in Belgium, it occures in 6th of december, it's a bit of Santa Claus, a bit of Befana (for Italians), probably a bit of something else and a lot of dreams for children.

Another nice one ! Love the care you put on details. Seems very realistic to me.

Btw, I think that I've seen this car already ... ;)

Thanks for comments,

@Radiance:Yeah, indeed after Octaning for some hours the temperature in the room raises for several degrees celcius, incredible what this card is able to produce, not only fast renderings but also some heat for winter evenings. I checked the GPU heat and the temperature reported is about 93 degrees, I think I'll also use it for cooking :D

@teecee:Yeah, you probably mean the crash test dummy one ...

@justix:Yeah, I sleep, unfortunately.

@steveps3:Of course ;)

Now I feel paranoid, are those renders or photos? The upper one sure is a photo, but the other can be a render... or can it? Until I see a wireframe or something I´m going to hold those for photos!

Hah, fantastic.
The only giveaway I can find that the top one isn't photo is that the toy company would never print the price directly on the packaging... They sell them to the stores and they mark them up, so the people printing the package have no idea what the final price will be in each store, plus it will likely change all the time...

Of course that has nothing to do with the render... :lol:

How did you nail that crinkled plastic packaging look??
