light sphere material transfer

I have an object that acts as a magical ball/sphere. it got all kinds of textures/materials. generally, it's a sphere with a special textures. Octane doesn't import it correctly.

here it is in firefly:

this is how octane imports:

sphere in OR asis.png

after some tweaks (color change/opacity) that's what I could get. it won't show the "magical" texture:

poser material nodes:

I'm trying to figure out why this is happening with some materials, while others (most of them, actually) transfer without any problem.

thanks for your help.

I think you might need a Diffuse material with an Emission.

the thing is, I can't animate the lights (Emitters) in octane (or can i?). when I want to do a simple thing, such as creating a flickering light sphere, I keyframe the sphere/the light attached to it in poser. is there any way do achieve this in octane?
also, how do I control the fall-off of the light?

You should be able to use dial-linking to do this. Connect the emitter power to a dial and keyframe that dial.
