mesh subdivision and body parts

Hi,

I would like to smooth a character mesh using subdivision in octane plugin. However it seems that this functionality creates visible joints between the different body parts (see attached image). The only difference between the two images is the Subd level in material property set to 1 in the first image and to 0 in the second.

Is it the expected behavior? Am i doing something wrong?

Thanks for your help.

I think changing your figure into Unimesh in Poser will solve that problem
