Whilst you wait for a response - have a read of the links I posted above - since they potentially contain the solution to getting Octane 3 running on your system.

Octane 2 was running fine on my previous machine { now defunct} But I had to go to
this machine for octane 3.

But as you see, octane has never installed or worked. This machine runs great - except for octane. no
octane has ever run on it.

There some weird conflict, apparently since the new fresh windows drive is having the identical problems.

temperature ? another machine had that problem, but this ones been running great.

oK - Good news. -

I'm rendering with 1.25 as we speak. 332 driver.

and YES it feels like an upgrade -- LOL. Now have 8gb ram vs 2 before!

Ha vent had sign of overheating yet.

although - the fans are churning louder than ever.

And theirs a weird chemical smell coming out in the hot air?
