As regards the work around Erick, I will try that but I will still have to manually adjust each part of the figure to get the desired outcome.
The figure that led me to making this post has many parts to it (as shown below) and I had to adjust the opacity on each of them to make it look right.
It was a bit of a pain and I was just making sure I wasn't missing something and struggling unnecessarily.
- This is a basic render of the stockings in Poser firefly
- These are the settings for it. There were no transparency maps used.
- This is how it looks in octane with the basic octane file conversion
- These shows how many different parts of the stockings need to be adjusted.
- These are the settings that each of the those body parts is set to by default.
As discussed, I will welcome all work arounds for manual adjustment but would prefer the auto conversion process to do a better job of converting transparencies if possible.
