Hi All,

Has anyone attempted to create glowing eyes, using octane and little/no postwork? If so, best way to achieve this? i have been doing this all in postwork but im curious as to whether it can be done with Octane. Would like it to be on the Iris only though

thoughts?

While I'm sure there are better ways, one way is to turn the iris into an emitter and use very low intensities with a high distribution. Set the iris to diffuse, on the emission pin, select either blackbody or texture emission.

Like I said this is one way, hopefully others will come up with something better and post them.

Samhal's method is the preferred way to do this.
