Hi guys,

Is there a way to make really small lights in octane, i have a render that has control panels on walls and computers in a room. there I want to light up the screens and some of the smaller lights in the room but im not sure how to accomplish this with octane (i dont want these lights to light up the room), is it simply creating an emitter and turning it way down putting it near the screen?

Diffuse -- texture emissions, found in manual :)

Use the Poser primitive prop "one sided square". Use a diffuse emitter. You can add an IES texturemap to it too, which gives great effect. Search these forums for IES for more details.
