octane stand alone works fine but i get a message in poser as follows:
Could not load Octane libraries refer to the log file in your poser temp directory for details

I cant find the poser temp directory so i dont know what the log file says

I wonder if this is the solution--Ijust got an email saying Octane v1 is available, i guess the poser plug in is looking for this on my system and not the last beta version I am downloading now and hope to try it out in my lunch break soon cheers

Sorry for the delay responding to this message - I only just saw it.

Could not load Octane libraries refer to the log file in your poser temp directory for details

This error means the files from the installer were not correctly copied into the corresponding files in your Poser folder. It may also be a PoserPython install issue - and reinstalling Poser SR3.1 can fix that up.

Poser -> Edit -> General Preferences -> Misc tab will show you your Poser temp directory. Pls post the octaneplugin.log file (or email it to me at [email protected]) and we'll get you up and running.

Cheers thanks for the reply but i got it working with the octane version 1 installed, I originally was trying it with the last beta so now my only problem is my graphics card it works for basic stuff
but not good enough for a complex scene. I hope to figure out another card to add into my machine after xmas for a boost, thanks again!
