General Visibility Bug

Hey paul,
I think I found a bug with the general visibility settings. In the materials tab when I select a mesh. If I change the values more than once on General visibility from 1 to 0 or 0 to 1.
I can't change the value again. It switches my cursor over to subdivision it will not let me change the value at all in general visibility.
I would have to click off the current mash and on to another and go back to the previous Mash to change the general visibility settings.

Or if I change the general visibility settings and go over and change the subdivision level settings. I cannot go back to General visibility and change its settings at all.
Again I have to click off the current mash and on to another and go back to the previous Mash to change the general visibility settings.

I know it sounds strange to go through these settings like this. But I tend to test out techniques and strategies a lot.
And I'm really fast at troubleshooting and changing settings.

I have noticed issue like this before. I will take a closer look when doing the next release (in a few weeks time).

Thanks

Do you have Poser->General Preferences->Interface->Interface Scale Factor set to 1?

Also, what are you Windows->Settings->Display->Scale and Layout settings please?

Thanks

Thanks. I could not replicate the problem. I thought perhaps the python UI widgets were on top of each other a little due to your screen scaling, but that appears to not be the issue. Perhaps if you can provide some screenshots showing the problem I can investigate further.

Hey paul,
This is best seen in a video format. As you can see I changed the subdivision level value. When I go to change the subdivision sharpness. And return back to the subdivision level setting. I can only change the previous setting that I was currently in. I am clicking to change the subdivision level. But my keystrokes only stay in subdivision sharpness. This is with any setting after clicking the mesh in the same geometry group. As you can see I try to change the levels of the general visibility as well. Going back and forth it. My keystroke only applies to the previous settings. It only seems to happen with these settings in the geometry group. But not with the material nose or the settings tab area.
The only way I can change the settings again is to click on another mesh and go back to the previous one.

Thanks

I can now reproduce the problem.

It looks like the new version of python and wx.python is allowing the mouse to select a text box, but the cursor is not following. I have fix this in the next release.
