Ray epsilon problem

IDK if this is a bug, or feature, but I can't fix in place the "Ray Epsilon" parameter. I set it to 0.000001, then clicking on Studio's viewport - and it goes back to default setting. Any ways to fix it's value?

Have you unchecked "Automatic calculation of kernel ray epsilon" under the General Setting in the preference tab?
