Viewport lag but only with camera

So i dont know if this is a DAZ thing or an Octane thing but sometimes when i have characters in the scene with subdivision level 3 the viewport becomes quite laggy BUT this is only the case when i am looking through a camera. When i use perspective view there is no lag. Does anyone know why that is?
