Thanks for the heads-up, Paul.

Again: My posts are not meant to criticize your work and support for OCDS in any way shape or form. It's just, that something needs to happen and it can't be done by you alone. Otoy needs to realize, that help is needed and that they need to support you more with this.
It'd be a shame to see the potential OCDS has, go to waste...

My thoughts exactly. I'm hoping otoy steps up. I really love this renderer, I'd hate to downgrade to iray.

I do hope Otoy listens to you Paul and us. Fingers crossed.

Didn't read up on all your efforts to (essentially) get the same things moving, I mentioned in my original post. Way to go, man!

Could we please have an OTOY official come in and please let us know, when this critical feature will be added to OCDS?
I can't believe how we still don't have an official response from OTOY about the desolate state of the plug-in.

Again: Not criticizing Paul with this, as he can only do so much.

Gee that worked, the response from OTOY was over whelming!

I'm still in absolute disbelief over how a company can treat customers like this...

I doubt that the OTOY people would have read this thread. The preferred way to contact OTOY with questions and feedback is via the Support menu option at the top of this page.

That's funny because I contacted support about the plugin needing an overhaul and they told me that you would contact me via email. Never happened. And now you're saying we need to contact support. What a f-ing joke. Round and round we go, I get the feeling OTOY is scamming DAZ users. I feel sorry for anyone that decides to pay money for this half baked plugin.

Good morning Paul,

I hope I do not bother with my question, but is there anything new about native beach based hair? Will there be a solution in one of the other versions?

What I also want to say at this point:
You're doing a good job! :!:

Can you tell me if the plugin can also use the RTX On Feature?

greetings
Michael

I'm sorry - I am not sure what you are referring to by "beach based hair". Do you have a link to this product please?

Can you tell me if the plugin can also use the RTX On Feature?
I think the Octane 2020.1 version of the plugin (now available) should support RTX (but I don't have an RTX card, so I would appreciated someone testing this please).

Thanks

Paul

Hey paul,

I am sorry, I mean native strand based hair, as the Thread I write here.

Greetings
