Animation Problem

Hello,

I am new in the Area of Animation with the DAZ3D Octane plugin in Version 3.7.0.37 and Daz3d Version 4.10.

I created with Animate Lite a very short Timeline (8 Frames). Then I clicked on Animation in the Octane Plugin and set the First and last frame (0 / 8).

Then I clicked on Start Animation and OctaneRener Animation was rendering.
The Result is a window "OctaneRender Image Browser" with Frames xxx.png and a lot of frames with a red x to the max count of 240.

There is a play button, but the Figure stands still.

Whats wrong? Did I a mistake?

Is there a Manual?

Thanks you for help.
Michael

Hi Michael

There was a similar issue to this reported by another user, and it turned out it was an odd body part that was parented to the new Genesis figures which caused the issue (think it was the tear duct?). And deleting that prop resolved the problem. Apologies for not recalling the specifics.

Hey Paul,

here comes an update to the problem.
I now use a Genesis 3 figure and there comes every time the same error by frame 11.

What did you mean with "an odd body part", my figures are without all any other items, only the figure.

Please see the Attachements.

Thank you for help.
Michael

That scene rendered fine on my PC - all animation frames saved as expected. Can you post a screenshot of the plugin Preferences tab pls?

Hello Paul,

yes it works now with Gen3 but sorry about the question.
How can I create a movie file after the frames are rendered?

Is there a Manual or howto?

Greetings
Michael

You will need to use a 3rd party app the stitch the frames together into a movie.
