It''s finally time - grab your updated RedSpec TGX MK3 for G3F & G8F tailored shaders now !!!

With RedSpec TGX tailored MK3 we want to give back to the community and our supporters, by making it totally free.
The shader structure was greatly revamped and contains (amongst other detail changes)

- 8 Specular Maps to better distribute skin glossiness effects
- A completely re-designed eye, teeth and nail shader
- 2-click-presets
- Normal & Bump map inclusion in the same shader layout.

The MK3 shaders require a reinstall, so please reinstall through the setup file included in the .zip.
They also contain a .zip-folder called extract_to_DS_content_folder.zip - please unzip this into the folder where you would typically install your DAZ Studio content into.

To use MK3 please make sure that you get the most recent OctaneRender for DAZ Studio plug-in here: https://render.otoy.com/customerdownloads/plugins/c0/e7/73/23/OctaneRender_for_DazStudio_3_6_4_34_Win64.exe (MK3 will NOT work with older versions of the plug-in)

Amazing shader update!!!!!!

Applying the shaders is now quick and fun.

Especially like the combined effects of transmission and subsurface scattering effects on the ears and lips.

Quick test with the "bump map only" version with Ceridwen by Saiyaness:

I have just noticed that the toenails material has the wrong SSS map. It loads in with the arms, not the legs. Obviously this is fairly simple to fix manually but I thought I'd give you a heads up.

This must have slipped in during the final beta testing - sorry for this.

We'll release an update soon fixing this. All customers will receive this via e-Mail.

Is it too late to make a request?

Many skins don't have gens, however, it is possible to use the Torso Texture for anatomical elements.

This issue is that the SSS Map your shader uses doesn't include any detail in that area. It doesn't take much to modify the SSS Map, and get it working, so I'd appreciate it if you included one. Frankly, it might make a better default SSS Torso Map.

I'll look into this.
Might not be with the next update though.
