Hi Paul,

Thanks for your effort to track the bug.
Just playing more with instances and automatic generation of instances with "Surface replicate" script and cannot find a workaround.
here's an example :

You can see that iray version the grass is OK, octaner version, the grass seems to have and Y offset.
I think that creating instance one by one and replace it in the scene couls be a workaround.

Hi Paul,

I found it.
The "Surface replicate" script has something that is not "compatible with the plugin. The prop "grass" I use has its origin not at the base, when using joint editor, I can see green and red axes not at the base, so I should move the red and green axes to the same local Y=0 of the object. And then all instances created should be rendered at the right "altitude". If when you will work on the "instances" bug, could you check this issue also ? the "Surface replicate" script is free at ShareCG : http://www.sharecg.com/v/77603/browse/21/DAZ-Studio/Replicator-for-DAZ-Studio.

i'm install V3 work fine, but on V2 GPU not Supported ?

You will need to pose this question to OTOY. However I suspect that the latest Nvidia drivers will not work with old card/Octane 2 combinations. I would strongly suggest upgrading to Octane 3.
