created a box with two materials (one of the materials was octane portal for a window). Created a sphere with glass material, created a plane with a specular material with image as transmission. Got ready to import a large fractal object and figured I'd save the scene first. So I did a "save as" and created a scene that I called "test".

Importing the large object (170mb) slowed everything to a grind, so I killed the program, restarted and tried to load the scene via the DAZ content library buttons. Daz crashed... I tried to load a duf file yesterday also and it caused DAZ to crash.

I got first patch and was actually able to open old duf file created from last version. Thanks t-3!!!

great to hear! i noticed that you had a bit a hard time @ first contact, so i'm glad to see that it starts to work out better for you; rest assured, even if new/other problems arise ... "better" is definitely the direction it will take from here
