@ orion_uk Looks like you are making good progress. I especially noticed the lighting, metal materials and the glass.

I've done several renders with the plugin, but I mostly do nudes so I haven't shared anything here. But here is a mostly complete non-nude render I am working on. Probably won't share this on deviantart for a few more days as I have 4 images in this set that I plan to put out. Maybe a fifth if I can squeeze it in.

Lots of TnA, but they are clothed...lol

@Larsmidnatt..

Eeerrrmmm, at the risk of offending you... :shock:

Is she single? I wouldnt want to step on your toes or anything but....DAM, shes HOT :mrgreen:

Thanks for the complements, kind of you I must say seeing as I only recently shifted focus from Blender & Carrara to DS & PP2012. I still use Blender for my modeling but got bored with waiting for a stable final release of C8.5 and the loading times for OR plugin for Blender are too long for my tiny spec of patience! :P

My two big wishes are for a fully intergrated OR plugin for C8.5 and the abillity to import camera tracking data in to Daz & Poser (I own Syntheyes)... All good things come to those who wait... or buy willing programers enough drinks & get them to sign a contract :o :shock: :lol:

Love to see more of you T&A (not literally YOURs !!!), as you have a real skill there :D
The wife use to go mental at the sight of seeing a naked woman on my screen (digital, not porn,lol) but these days she just roles her eyes, calls me a perv and comments on how i am trying to invent the perfect woman!

Now (vote if you like) do I say " my darling, God already made you" OR "...

Heck, for personal safty I think I will just leave it there :D

Larmidnatt!! Holy crap :shock: I would really want a tutorial on how you managed to get this result.. The skin a eyes and hair material setup+lighting is something i would really know more about.
Again superb render.
Cheers!

@orion_uk LOL thanks. I know what you mean on how some real women view the digital ones...I'll leave it alone! For personal safety of course.

I'll have some more renders eventually, so will share then. Kinda have a backlog of chores/work to do at the moment though.

@Hakankrakan thanks for the comment.

Not at the PC right now but as I recall...

Her skin texture is a normal human color, using Daiyu for V5. So the fantasy skin coloring came from other settings in the material.

For the skin I created a mix material. One material is diffuse and the other glossy. The diffuse material has a scattering/absorption node and a transmission node. The transmission color is pinkish, I don't recall what I did with the absorption node, but I usually start at .2. The glossy material uses a bluish specular color and a roughness around .2 -.4.

The lips have a lower roughness than the rest of the body, probably around .07 or so. The lips are TOO shiny for realworld, but for a stylized render I think they look good.

I cheated with the eyes, sometimes I actually set the materials properly so they can reflect, but sometimes I use the cornea materials that have baked in reflections. For realistic renders it isn't always so good, but for this aproach a texture based reflection can work. In the plugin you just need to remove the filter for the eye materials, otherwise they won't show up in the list.

The hair actually needed a little bit of painting because the settings were not quite right, so I can't help to much there. But typically I turn the opacity down to .9 or .95, set the hair to glossy with a very low amount of specular and a relatively high roughness (.2 - .6). This depends a lot on the hair style though...and your bump map settings will play a large role too. Some hair looks better with little or no bump, while others look better with very high bump map settings.

I used a custom HDR environment that is heavy in blues and purples along with 3 mesh lights. Two of the lights have a tint of blue and one of them a pinch of pink/red.

Not a tutorial but I Hope that gives some ideas.
