How to key frame the default daylight system?

A quick and simple for the more experienced :)

How to key frame the default daylight system to simulate a day to night transition ?

I tried repositioning the hour slider at various intervals along the timeline but key frames / changes are not automatically saved :(

There are no lights in my scene tab so I can't click on them and then add key frame in the timeline?

Thanks for reading :D

sorry to say, but this is currently not possible.

to animate octane node settings in general will need some heavy work implementing an own keyframing system for it and will thus need some time to implement.
but.
i have already completed a few things to at least get animations for the environment in advance, since this is a rather obvious request. i can't give you an exact date, but it will still need a few weeks to get it in...

until done i can only give a short preview ;)

No worries t_3 ;)

You have done an awesome job with this plugin :D

I have had a few crashes on my laptop and a couple on my desktop (saved the Daz debug files) but need to get on my desktop tomorrow morning to make sure I can reproduce them there too before wasting your time! Don't want to bog u down with more work only to fine it's me / my laptop at fault :p

Hope u get some rest soon (have a walk in the sun) and a chance to render yourself that new image you mentioned :p

EDIT: oooh.... an enviroment vid... gonna check it out now... the vid image did not show on my ipad while replying to you, now i am back on my laptop i can watch it ;)

Thank you :D
