Fog object in Rhino ?

Hi,

I am currently testing some ways to archive god rays... I had some limited success with adding a scatter medium to the environment, I saw many tutorials for cinema which would use an fog object instead...
is this supported by the Rhino plugin somehow?

thanks for any feedback

Hi Andeas

You can just use a cube that contains the fog (ie. assume a material to the cube with a scatter node attached). However I think you get much better results using the Environment Medium pin, and using a large Medium Radius value.

thanks Paul, I will try out both approaches, you are probably right,
it is mostly that I don´t have much experience with this and the parameters are very cryptical to me...

by the way, thanks again for supporting the RN plugin, this scene was entirely done with it... for vegetation and especially grass this is a complete gamechanger!!!
