Hi Paul,

could you give us a little more room? I have the impression I spend 1 hour a day just vertical scrolling...

thanks !!!

Yes, I agree - this is not ideal. I pinged McNeel about it some time back, and they said it was a limitation of the UI. I will revisit the topic with them.

Thanks

thanks Paul , it's really appreciated ... it is a small detail, but since you use this soooo often it would be an improvement speed wise.

I am so sorry, but I am deep in the process of converting the plugins to Octane 2020.2, which is a substantial amount of work. I will need to revisit this after I have 2020.2 done.

Thanks

OK, I understand ... but please don't forget about this, these kind of things are not too sexy, but they have a big impact on the workflow and speed for users.

Merry X-Mas and thank you for all your effort and that you are always reachable and responsive, it is really appreciated !

best

Andreas

Hi Andreas

There McNeel forum thread on this is at https://discourse.mcneel.com/t/rhino-material-panel-resizing/115745.

At the moment it's in McNeel's hands to fix.

Thanks

Hi Andreas

I have put together a test version of the plugin to see if the changes introduced in the latest SR of Rhino7 resolve this issue.

2020.2.1.125
- Compiled with Octane 2020.2.1
- This is a Rhino7 ONLY build. You can therefore not run this release on Rhino6. If you find that Rhino7 loads the previous version of the plugin, delete the following registry entries, and reinstall the plugin: Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\McNeel\Rhinoceros\7.0\Plug-Ins\f109bd23-4cf3-4c0b-9f83-06be474b0152
and Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\McNeel\Rhinoceros\7.0\Plug-ins\f109bd23-4cf3-4c0b-9f83-06be474b0152
- Added a potential fix for https://render.otoy.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=41&t=75280. This fix requires the latest version of Rhino, and as I don't have a 4k monitor, I was unable to test the effectiveness of this fix

https://render.otoy.com/customerdownloads/plugins/99/28/f7/ce/OctaneRenderForRhino7_2020_2_1_125_STUDIO.rhi

Let me know how you go.

Thanks

Paul
