I cant find this lighting setting..
Experimental support for the Octane Quad, Sphere Lights. Go into the Setting windows and enable the Convert Rhino Lights checkbox. Mouse-over this setting for details.

Cheers

Tim
Hi Tim - click the Settings button which is next to the Open Viewport button, and then tick the "Convert Rhino Lights (EXPERIMENTAL)" checkbox.

Thanks

Paul

Ive tried a spotlight and a point light and neither seem to do anything when I render using the octane render open viewport. Ive turned on the convert Rhino lights experimental tick box. Is there something else Im missing. This would be a great feature.

Hi Tim - if you mouse over the checkbox it says it works for Point and Area lights. The Point Light worked for me as per the attached scene.
