Some minor bugs (rhino 6)

Hi,
ave have some issue with octane and rhino 6:
1- I uncheck "Camera visibility" in Geometry (see image). After I save the rhino file. i re-open but Camera visibility is on...so I have to uncheck all the objects that I don't want to see in the render
2- Octane render viewport usually go behind rhino and i'm not able to put Octane render viewport over rhino. So I have to reduce to icon rhino to see the render.
3- (this issue could not be an octane issue but a rhino issue): I open 2 projects (for example project A and project B). I copy an object (with only one material applied) from A, then I paste this object to the B. Sometimes Rhino (or octane) copies not only the material of the object but some other materials.

Do you have the same issues?

Bye

Hi Fabrizio

1- I uncheck "Camera visibility" in Geometry (see image). After I save the rhino file. i re-open but Camera visibility is on...so I have to uncheck all the objects that I don't want to see in the render
I have fixed this in version 3.08.3.94 - which I have just posted in the release thread.

2- Octane render viewport usually go behind rhino and i'm not able to put Octane render viewport over rhino. So I have to reduce to icon rhino to see the render.
I have only ever seen this on very rare occasions - and think it is a Rhino6 bug, but I cannot reproduce it reliably. I have reported it to McNeel https://discourse.mcneel.com/t/form-show-opening-window-behind-rhino-ui/69114.

3- (this issue could not be an octane issue but a rhino issue): I open 2 projects (for example project A and project B). I copy an object (with only one material applied) from A, then I paste this object to the B. Sometimes Rhino (or octane) copies not only the material of the object but some other materials.
If you can setup two .3dm files which demonstrate this issue, I can take a look.

Hi Paul
rendering viewport seems ok. Thank you

But now, with OctaneRenderForRhino6_3_08_3_94_SUBSCRIPTION and OctaneRenderForRhino6_3_08_3_95_SUBSCRIPTION, in scenes with many polygons, a cuda warning appear after the voxelizing phase.

Hi Paul,
I have no more the cuda warning...Don't ask me why...I don't know :-D

The problem with materials is still there even copying an object without textures. When I paste it into another scene, it "brings" many other materials.

Hi Paul,
please, take a look at this short video I made. The bug of "camera visibility" doesn't seem to be resolved. As you can see if I re-load the file while rhino is running, everything works. But If I close rhino and re-open the file the bug is still there.
Bye
