Copy and paste to clipboard

Hi,
I wonder why Copy and Paste to Clipboard is often very slow. Is there a rhino problem or Octane problem?
It happens when I copy and paste even a cube from 2 big projects.

I use Rhino 5, chipset Ryzen 7 1700, 32 Gb of Ram, Windows 7, ssd for windows and app, gtx 1080ti (graphic card)

bye

Hey - there is more to that - if your scene slows down - than probably you have something in clipboard - even the small part - can slow down rhino.
It is purely rhino problem imo - best solution is to clear clipboard and avoid copy/paste.

Mac

Hi, Mac and thanks for your reply.

How can I delete clipboard? How can I avoid copy/paste if I need to copy some models from a project to another project?

bye

Anyway I tried to uncheck "Allow copy and paste to version 4.0" in the Properties of rhino (http://docs.mcneel.com/rhino/5/help/en- ... /files.htm) and now when I copy an object it takes half of the time...but it is still very slow.
