here is the screen. if i click on anything it locks up . If i press switch to it just goes to the page shown. Is there anytyhing I can do to find out where the missing map is or where it should be or change the path?

when i look in my texture folder in that project there is a file there called yellow which seems to be the one missin but i dont know where it should be.

Is this the file you mean.

if i delete it and keep watching the location as i open rhino again, it just pops back again.

Hi Tim

If you delete the config.xml file, the load the file, it should ask where you want to search for files - at this point do NOT select a large file store (like C:\ or C:\Documents). Instead, just select the specific folder your images are in. The lock-up most probably occurs because the plugin is searching through thousands of files.

It doesnt even give me the chance to look. Ill try again now.

UPDATE. yeah I cant do anything on that first screen prompt. Cant make a new folder, cant select OK or cancel or even move the slider up the side.

And then the second screen opo up wont let me do anything either except switch, just makes beeps.

Hi Tim

If you have deleted your config.xml file, then the plugin will default the search for missing texturemaps in your Documents folder (and all the sub-folders in Documents). So it sounds it's getting stuck in one of the sub-folders. You could try moving all the sub-folders somewhere else temporarily to see if it resolves your issue.

i have managed to fix this now. I moved all the stuff out of my documents folder and made a new one somewhere else. This this allowed me to move past this stage.
