Good evening,
I'd like to make the same effect in rhino plugin:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I2Wjr5zH5Ro
(take a look from 5:30 to 5:40 min)

this is the map used in the tutorial:

I tried to move start and end values but I 'm not able to make the same effect. I get a texture not so crisp as the tutorial but a grayish one. This is my result
Evenmore...which is start value ....the left slide or the right value? What does it mean linear..constant, cubic

thanx

Hi - to use the full features of the Gradient node, set your material up as a NodeGraph. The NodeGraph window gives you full control of the Gradient node.

In the next future will I use all the function gradient without nodegraph?

I don't think this would be implemented in the near future. The tree-layout for editing Materials is not particularly compatible with adding points to a Gradient node - so it is much better to use the NodeGraph.
