Following is a test build with Octane 3.06 TEST 2. It is not stable enough yet for a format plugin release (so don't use it for production work), but good for testing.

3.6.1.79 PRE-RELEASE
- Compiled with Octane 3.06 TEST 2 (includes Adaptive Sampling, new Pano Camera DOF pins, new Add/Subtract/Comparison/Triplanar texture nodes, and Normal and Displacement mapping enhancements
- Added "quick expand" buttons to the top of the Setup window tree to quick open the Kernel, Environment, etc trees
- The Triplanar node is not working when using Object Space (throws an Octane error)

I have updated the installer at the top of this thread with:

3.6.5.81
- Compiled with Octane 3.06
- Added a Collapse button to the Octane Material toolbar to collapse the currently selected node
- The first character of the Octane Material name in the tree is now not forced to upper case
- Added "quick expand" buttons to the top of the Setup window tree to quick open the Kernel, Environment, etc trees
- Added a Preview button to the Material Tree to get an Octane render preview of the selected node

The subscription version installer should be available from the subscription download page in the next day or so.

Hi Paul,
thank you for the quick update.
Is this release considered as stable for production or would you recomment to wait a few days?

Now that Apple supports the new Pascal cards (at least from the driver side) the question is if a Octane for Rhino Mac will be comming soon?
Is this something you are interested in?

Pls consider this latest version STABLE. I plan on revising the TEST/STABLE release terminology to Pre-Release and Stable Release in the near future to make it clearer how stable the current build is.

Pls see answer 16) in the FAQ - https://docs.otoy.com/manuals/products/rhino/v3/faq/

Hi Paul,
great that this is a very stable release as usual.
I was wondering because of the Mac-Version since I have seen that there is Maxwell Render for Mac.
I thought this means that Octane can be used as well with Rhino 4 Mac soon.
Cheers
Nando
