I have updated the OctaneRender for Rhino6 3.08.1.92 (64 bit) (non-subscription) installer link at the top of this thread, since it contained the incorrect Octane libraries.

I will probably continue to release test builds for Rhino5, however I think that latest test build was only applicable for Rhino6, so there was no need for a Rhino5 version.Quick question. Are the test builds only for Rhino 6 going forward? I tried to launch the newest one but since I have Rhino 5, it gave me an error.

at the moment the textures / materials are not displayed correctly in the Rhino-Viewport as far as I know.
When will it be possible to have a correct preview of materials in Rhino?
Thank you

I have found a critical issue with the Rhino6 version of the plugin, which to me appears to be a bug in Rhino6, which I have been requesting help on from McNeel for over a month now. So until it is resolved, I am reluctant to release a new version. The issue is that loading a .3dm with an OBJ proxy results in the OBJ proxy materials all being duplicated. One solution would be to NOT support OBJ proxies on Rhino6, but I think that would be a problem for some users.Hey Paul, Just wondering if you have an estimate date on the next release?
This is not possible. You will need to wait for the next Octane release to use offline mode. How can I use the 3.08 version for Rhino by Offline sign in?
