Controling the Export Tesselation of Geometry - how to?

Hi Sam,
I am running into an issue when I want to control the tesselation of surfaces.
First I thought that Rhino (5 WIP) just takes the current tesselation export settings that pop up before the standart obj export. But that is not the case. When I start the render out of Rhino the mesh is generated with an 'average' tesselation resolution.
The first thing to solve of course was to export the scene manually via the standart obj-exporter in Rhino and then replace the link in the mesh node inside octane but that is usually not working because of the auto scene scaling what is nessecary when you want to bring large scenes (milimeter units) to render properly in octane. So if you swap the mesh (in Octane) the camera looks somewhere else.

So is there a way to control the tesselation of geometry while using the Rhino2Octane export plugin?

Thank you for your help.

The plug-in exports the current render meshes. So if you want to improve the mesh that is exported, try modifying your render mesh settings. This will work with per object meshing as well, so if you have a bunch of really simple objects and you have only one complex thing that needs really tight meshes, you can select that object and change its per object mesh setting in the object properties.

Custom mesh settings - of course. I will try this out.
