Hi Paul,

I'm using SR11 - now i think that before that there was no such a problem.

I did another test - it happens only if there is at least one material in material tab. No mater what type of material it is.
I changed current renderer to rhino and added rhino material - still the same.

I think that this is strictly McNeel related.

Resetting toolbar layout doesn't help :)

EDIT: When I press escape once more, even the "breadcrumbs thing" disappears - material tab is totally empty, only name of the tab remains.

Regards,
Mac

Hi Mac. Thanks for the analysis you have done on this. McNeel have been able to reproduce this issue, and it has been put into their bug tracking system.

Hi Paul,

The latest version DOES indeed allow the animation of focus distance with the new sync feature you added! However, I'm running into the same issue as what was originally happening with rendering out the sun animations before you fixed them.

The Octane Render Window is animating the focus distance perfectly as I scrub through the timeline. However, when telling Bongo to render out the animation, that focus distance is not being transferred over to the Rhino Render window. However, if I open the Octane Render Window, then the Rhino Render window, the focus IS being transferred over. But, this will of course only work on still shots since the Octane render window is closed upon rendering out a Bongo Animation.

I've just PM'd you a test file to help. If you open the Octane render window and scrub through the timeline, the focus is animated from the blue box to the yellow box perfectly. However, when rendering out the animation via the render window, the Rhino render window only picks up the last focus distance from when Octane Render window was open. I hope that makes sense.

I'm really hoping this is something that is fixable.

Thanks Paul,
Ryan

Works perfectly now! Thank you Paul. I think having this feature is a really big deal for architectural animations.

Hi Paul-

Running into a bug that I haven't found mentioned elsewhere. Apologies if this has been covered already.

The Octane toolbar doesn't show the materials panel for me. I'm running Rhino 5 x64 SR11. I've tried a few different versions of the plugin, both the 2.22.2 stable and the latest test version. Suggestions?

See attached image.

Thanks,

Matt

Hi Matt

The Material panel is integrated into the Rhino Material panel. http://render.otoy.com/manuals/Rhino/?page_id=35
