Hi,

Is there a way to link LightWave Light in OGL to Octane Sun position ? I want to be able to drive Environment Daylight time of day and direction (north offset?) with LW light item so that when i move it down it gets later time at day like 6PM or when i move it up it's 12 o clock etc. etc..

Thanks

In addition, you can create another light source, bind it as a child to the first one, which is responsible for the position of the sun Octane.

Thanks Pixim, that works, I was trying that with Item Info, never occurred me that we have a separate "light Info" node :).

@proximity - can you add more info or screen-grab of your idea, not sure i follow what is different in your case/idea since sun does move in this pixims screen-grab?

thanks

Hi, Lewis,
You're welcome. If you use IPR, when you rotate the light, you have to redraw to get the correct result…
