Rasterizing? Direct BUMP versus AUTO BUMP. (use auto!)

So I have discovered that ONE of my issues with rasterized bump maps in Octane is fixed using the Octane Vertex Displacement node's "auto bump map" feature. Now, I don't know if this reveals a bug in the code for rasterized bump maps being used directly or not? I just know, the auto gen feature allows them to work. Images attached.

Yes, probably the vertex displacement using autobumps can be the best workflow to get this kind of displacement without artifacts. The conventional old displacement is a render-time displacement solution that is fast, but prone to have artifacts if you try to render large objects with the camera near the surface.
