After many, many attempts I am now on the verge of giving up on trying to get an embergen sim to render properly in Octane for Lightwave, options that appear in the C4d plugin simply don't work in the Lightwave version of Octane or are just plain missing, so can someone please give me a sample explosion or fire generated using embergen setup up in lightwave.

Example, see attached thread, where in the Lightwave plugin does this exist?

Pay attention to the 'you need to use a Volume Gradient in Scattering Ramp for diffusion, and in the Emission Ramp for the flames, the only trick is to always start with a black color from the left in the gradient:'

I suppose that you could use the volume ramp node, like in C4D. Yes, I know that the ramp node is not very intuitive in LightWave, but well, in the year 2020, LightWave still doesn't have a ramp widget in the SDK :(

Are you sure that you are using the volume ramp node? If you want to share the scene we could take a look at it.

Yes Juanjo, I'm sure. We need some documentation on how to implement this correctly, It's a simple explosion, nothing fancy, so why does the whole thing render bloody orange.

It is hard to say without the scene, but for example, do you have the "Normalize" option disabled in the blackbody emission node? It must be disabled while working with volumes.

Also, the volume can be fully illuminated by this so bright environment. This also can change the tone of the whole volume.
