The Perfect Water Material

ok so the ever elusive water/ocean material. Is there a way to combine/add/multiply displacement vectors? I have two materials that are decent in their own way but feel I would like to combine them into one displacement map. The Material Mixer loses something... I've tried using the vector add (blue) but it doesn't plug into displacement after add....

Thoughts? Any help?

That could come in very useful too. Water/Lake is different than Ocean.... I'll take a look...appreciate the share.

yes_ just the principle remains the same, then you can play on different displace to get closer to the ocean waves :)
After that depends on the lighting of your scene, and coloring water too, there is an important thing, do not forget to model a background below for the ocean

Yes for sure...but I was meaning....if I end up using Ocean on this project..your setup would come in handy for doing other waters.... Because Ocean may not be good for smaller bodies of water....

Thanks again! Look forward to playing around with it....
