Lw 2019 render saves to two places Tweet

I render properties (LW) I have unchecked everything in buffers and output, and in octane render passes I have selected a location and some beauty passes. When I render it renders to the location selected within octane as well as lightwaves "Base Save Path". I dont want it to render to lightwaves path at all. What am i doing wrong?

Happened in LW2018, and now in 2019. I never could stop LW to save the frames, so I created a Trash folder, I put this path in the lw saver (the right path for the frames is in the octane render passes) and I know to delete all what I find in this trash folder. But it is a stupid no-solution.

That's basically what I had to do as well. I'll submit a bug report to newtek.

If I understand your issue, you may just put the same render path in both places. That's what we do. It is still a pain, no doubt...to have to set both up properly, but we don't see duplicates saves (that I'm aware of) My HD would be full by now If it was saving somewhere else too

Maybe that will help temporarily.
