Hi Juangjo,

FYI the LW2019 scaling UI "--ui_screen_scale_factors=1.2;1" parameters change the quality of the IPR rendering and the stat.
(My screen resolution is 2560x1440)
Can you do anithing for this ?
Regards
Phil

Hi,

Hmm, well, what LW does is to scale the GUI. What is exactly your problem? Attached you have the IPR scaled 2:1 using this new LW feature that seems fine.

Of course, the OpenGL widget (that is like any other LW widget, like the buttons an so on) used to display the Octane image is also scaled 2:1, so technically the render resolution in my case is half the physical window size ... if the GUI scale is not an integer value (for example in your case 1.2:1) perhaps you could get some aliasing effects due to the GUI scaling, but I'm not sure if I am going to be able to do something about this. The GUI scaling is done automatically by the LW GUI system, and this includes the Octane IPR window.

Thanks,
-Juanjo

In fact if you want to save your image --> there are many yaggies it is not so clean that before and the stat text is deformed ... I will post something later.
Thanks for your answer

Hey Juanjgon,

Just to tell you that the preview is not very clean but when I save from the IPR the result is perfect
that's the main thing for me.

The adaptative IPR screen would be very cool. Its real pleasure to work with big screen since LW2019 (fonts were too small before) :)

Regards

Just wondering if this is the case then why is VPR not affected when you use the ui_screen_scale_factor command? The Octane IPR window causes the render to be really jagged as if the antialiasing is not working properly if you are using the screen scaling command "--ui_screen_scale_factor=1.25"

Thanks,
Jason
