Hi,

Is there a way to animate this aspect of the Octane / LW workflow. ( Power/ Rotation)

Potential for Envelopes ?

You can link a LightWave standard scalar node to the power/rotation inputs of the texture environment node to animate this parameters. The LW nodes have the "E" button to animate the values.

Thank you, playing with that now and working a treat. ( My apologies too for the Noob questions )

Using LW 2015 - I have had two app freezes and the 2nd has been non-recoverable.

It should work, but perhaps you need to reload the scene to see the changes in the IPR if you scrub the time line. If it doesn't work while rendering with F9/F10, please let me know, or send to me a scene to reproduce the problem here.

I will test the actual rendering stage.

Even ditched the lights an replaced them with Spheres and an emitting surface with a Scalar Node and end up with the same results.

Will let you know how the render goes.

Confirming renders seem fine and as expected.

This may make things a little difficult for setup, Octane emitters effects wont show up in VPR either.

You need to enable the "Mat. Upd" option in the IPR window to preview the animated parameters while scrub the timeline, including the emitters.
