Do you have the "smoothing" parameter enabled in the native LightWave surface panel?

Also perhaps you can have a precision problem if your scene too big or too small. Change the "ray epsiolon" parameter in the kernel node that you are using and set it to 0.001 or 0.01 to see what happens.

It's good "smoothing" parameter enabled in the native Lightwave surface panel and then "reload" when in IPR active.
