Juan, can I jsut as if my assumptions are right?

1. There is no way to use Lightwave's existing Procedurals in my node tree

2. There is no way for you to create Procedurals for the plugin, as they need to exist in the standalone version?

Each plugin can create image textures.
So it is possible to create a procedural texture as an image which can be used with Octane.

You must only know the math behind the procedurals ;)

Yes, I can evaluate the Lightwave procedurals at fixed resolution and use them as image maps for Octane. I will *try* to add this feature for Octane 2.0 plugin.

Anyway they are not going to be true procedurals, only image maps with the procedural texture, so for example the resolution is limited to the map resolution, and the procedural maps needs GPU memory.

Currenly is not possible create true procedurals for Octane. Only OTOY team can add nodes of any type to Octane.

Procedurals to image maps would be better than nothing.

True procedurals were what I was asking about. It just seems weird that there are so few in the standalone package :(
