On a Linux, I am not getting options for texture repeating. Modo 16.0v3 and latest Octane. Tried reseting preferences too.
It is working fine for me. Did you delete all your Modo*.CFG files?

Paul, I am aware that you probably do not support 16.1 Beta yet, but just as a heads up. Octane crashes Modo16.1 Beta on startup, on Linux.
I tried downloading the Linux beta, but the Foundry website seems to be glitched for it (download is OK for Windows and macOS). I have pinged Foundry about it. Once I get a resolution I will take a closer look.

Thanks

Paul

Paul it was something with my Modo installation or OS. Reinstall everything and Octane works with 16.1 Beta.
Issue with no Border Modes exposed is still present though, for both beta and 16.0v3 version, with Octane .189. It works with .187 version of Octane.

I think Modo is finding another CFG file containing the old Border Mode property. Either there are two OctaneRenderForModo_Forms.CFG files, or the the old Border Mode property has been saved to the Modo->System->User MODO16.0.CFG file. Also, try adding an Image node to the Schematic, and check the Channels tab - are the Border Mode (U) and (V) channels present?

Thanks

Yes, they are present. That is how I managed to tweak value. Will double check configs, but I did test this on fresh Modo and Octane installs.

Hi - I think the installer has packaged the wrong CFG file. Can you try this version please? https://render.otoy.com/customerdownloads/plugins/4f/f3/35/b5/OctaneRender_for_Modo15-16_2022_1_0_189_Linux_STUDIO.run

Reinstall everything and Octane works with 16.1 Beta.
I just tried with Build 119 (2023.01.25) and Octane started rendering fine, but then everything locked up when I clicked the Stop button.

EDIT: Just tried again and it was working fine. So unsure if it was a "one-off" issue or not.

Thanks. The link at the top of this thread has been updated to link to this new installer build.

Paul is it possible to implement option, maybe in Preferences, when creating Override to always use Universal? I am rarely using anything else nowadays.

I did a lot of work on this last year (ie. conversion of Principled to Universal and a bunch of other enhancements), but shelved it prior to the final release of 2022.1. I plan on getting back to it in the next month or so, so I think you will see implemented.

Thanks
