noise in glass materials with hdri lighting

hi all - I am new to Octane, and when I try to light a scene with an hdri I get a crazy amount of noise in the glass - so much so that I think there must be a setting to resolve this but so far I have not found any solution - what can I do to get rid of this? it only seems to show up when the brightest part of the hdri is facing the glass - any ambient or indirect light does not cause the problem.

Try this:

search.php?keywords=noise+glass+specular&terms=all&author=&sc=1&sf=all&sk=t&sd=d&sr=posts&st=0&ch=300&t=0&submit=Search

Specular/glass can take more time to clean up, especially if not set up right!
