I have upgraded my OSX system to Catalina in preparation for OctaneX, and it now appears the Modo plugin crashes Modo when run on High Sierra. I have removed the OSX installers at the top of this thread. The OSX version will next be available with the OctaneX version of the plugin.I have added OSX Enterprise and Studio builds of the plugin to the top of this thread. A reminder that you will need to be running High Sierra to run these versions. Once OctaneX is released, you will be able to use the later OSX version.
Hi Francois - it would be worth you checking the OctaneX thread at https://render.otoy.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=71814. There are no Nvidia Cuda drivers for Catalina - so I suggest you ask in that thread if your Nvidia cards can be used.francois wrote:Paul,
there’s something I don’t understand.
There is no nvidia driver after Hight sierra, and an nvidia card is required to launch Octane. so who is this version for ?
Do you have an nvidia card on your mac with Catalina?
