Thanks so much Paul.
Actually "Reload Mesh Each Frame" is already implemented in v4.05.0.153. Lets call this one user error :/
Works great, thanks for schooling me on this.
Re: Imager and custom LUT Strength... that's fine, I understand the code is being updated. As a workaround I can just keep the node group I created and connect/disconnect the pins as needed. Easy enough.
Looking forward to a V4 with those fixes, much appreciated.

Hi Dino
Here is an Octane 4.05 build of the plugin against the latest plugin code. Given the plugin now has Octane 2018, 2019 and 2020 support, I don't think it's possible to support Octane 4 past this release.

Sorry Paul, I really appreciate providing the v4 plugin but I'm unable to save my render as 32bit EXR now. When I click either of these nothing happens:

Also if I save as either 16 bit tonemap, or 16 bit non-tonemap EXR they actually save as 32 bit.

Hi Dino
Sorry for the save issue. Unfortunately the plugin code has moved a lot with 2018.1, 2019.1 and 2020.1, and it looks like this code change has broken the Octane 4 version of the plugin. Sorry, but I think the time to upgrade to the latest version has arrived.

Hi Paul,
I have a problem running Octane at all.
Short story long - I'm on modo 13.2v1 and I have a standalone Octane license v4.
It all worked fine together until I've changed computers. I used to be on a GTX 1080 Ti, now I'm on a machine with a RTX3060.
When I start Octane I get this message:
"OctaneRender 4.05 (4050000)
device 0: failed to find a CUDA binary matching compute model 8.6"
I've tried different drivers: 431.70, 472.12, 456.71. Tried the regular ones, tried the 'Studio' drivers. No luck. Whay am I missing here?
I'm on PC, Windows 10.

Hi - the RTX3060 will need the latest Nvidia drivers, and the latest version of Octane to work. Octane 4 will not work with the RTX3060 (as that graphics card was released after Octane 4).
Thanks
Paul

That's a bummer
Anyways - I see there's two ways I can upgrade: go with a monthly subscription OR I can upgrade to a permanent license for 500Euros to Octane 2020 (from my v4).
Can you tell me which Octane version works with RTX cards? Will 2020 be fine if I decide to go with that?
Thanks!

I suggest talking to OTOY about the upgrade options via the "Support" option at the top of this page.
Thanks
