Thanks Paul, I've attached a simple scene but you can just load any item into blank scene. Fire up the IPR and see the difference between having denoiser checked or unchecked in the imager. I've also attached a video showing what I'm seeing on my end in case you are experiencing something different. It seems having denoiser on cuts the IPR refresh framerate by roughly half. I can't say exactly because the octane IPR doesn't have an FPS counter, just going by eye.

Thanks for all your efforts this plugin is a joy to use.

Dino.

Dino, I noticed this too, but it's not a modo issue.

If you export the frame to orbx, you'll find the same thing happens in standalone too.

You should post the orbx export to the 2019 XB standalone thread, so OTOY can look into it.

Thanks Funk, yep your right same happens in standalone. Actually if anything it's a bit smoother in modo.

Happy to post this in the standalone forum, but I'm using version 4 and you suggested for me to post in the 2019 XB thread.. is that right?

Cheers.

Dino, you can report it to any standalone release thread. 2019 XB2 is being actively worked on so I suggested that.

Dino,

Since you never replied, I decided to post your scene to the 2019 RC2 thread because I'd like OTOY to look into this:

Sorry Funk- been a mad couple of weeks not even a minute to check the forums. Thanks for posting this in the correct thread, you've picked up quite a few oddities i see!. Will be keeping an eye on this.

Cheers,
Dino.

Hi Paul, found an annoying bug.. if camera blur is check in the kernel, ipr does not update film offset when animating or scrubbing the timeline. You have to reload the scene in IPR for it to work.

Another bug, light ID's dont render properly when outputting an animation. Seems to work fine in IPR in regular mode when scrubbing through the timeline.

Do you have "Use Modo Film Offset" ticked or unticked?

Currently have it ticked. But I tried unticking it, and using the shift X & y controls in the octane camera panel and it still didn't work
