Modo ocs export loses MDD animation

I have a Modo scene with a mesh deformer driven by an MDD.

When I save out an ocs from the Octane viewer in Modo and open it in Standalone I only get the frame I happened to be on when exporting. All other frames are lost.

Is there a preference setting somewhere that I'm missing? Or is there a way to reapply the animation in Standalone?
Or do I need to bake the geo prior to export?

thanks

The solution was found on the "Rendering and Exporting Animations" page of the Octane Modo manual. :D

Execute this command in the Modo command line: octane.saveAnimation

You will get a .osc file along with supporting folder containing alembic file.
