Sure but the camera movement wont be an issue since its a separate "picker" in the modo plugin.

The border vanishing is a good point though. If the Octane API allows Paul to keep the red render region border visible when another picker is active, that would be great

There seems to be a number of differing opinions on how this should work. If you can present is workable, agreed functionality for the render region, I will code it into the next version of the plugin.

Thanks Paul.

Not wanting to complicate things.. but since we have this opportunity, whatever way RR is implemented it would be nice to see all the pickers (wb, focus, material), viewport navigation & and render region playing nicely with each other.
