I there any other way I can contact the otoy team regards this issue? Ive been waiting quite a while and still nothing. Be good to be kept in the loop.

You could raise a ticket via the Support menu option. However I can assure you that the issue is being looked at, and responding to a ticket is just going to cost people more time :-)

I would suggest rolling back to the previous STABLE OSX build of the plugin, which I don't think contained the FBX library which is causing the crash.

Ok Paul, I'll let the guys do their job and practice patience. I just like to be in the latest build of modo for the bug fixes etc but I will just stick to 11.1 for now. Keep me posted please, Thanks.

So I've patiently waited 2 months for this issue to be resolved. Is there any news, am I now worth peoples time and opening a ticket worth it?

My understanding is that this is resolved in the next Octane API release, so I will do an OSX build as soon as that Octane version is available.

The Windows version of Octane 3.08 RC1 is now available. I am just waiting on the OSX version in order to build the Modo plugin.

Any idea on a time frame? Im using 11.2 now because I prefer the performance but I'm missing using octane and the issue with octane and modo I began this post with started before Christmas last year.
