texture path

Hi everybody,
I work my architectural scenes in Modo, and i need some accessories like trees, cars and characters.
At each projects i want to copy the folder of my accessories on the folder of the new project, because when the project is finished, the folder is archived on another disk (politic of the firm), and i loose my paths.
And if I want to copy then on a fix disk, the archives path would be broken.
But, when i create a new project with Modo, Octane lose the path of the textures, and i must to reload individualy each texture, at each time ... impossible!
So what can i do, i would like to be able to simply copy my accessories and keep the texture path (relative)?
Thanks (sorry for my english ...)

Hey there,

i don't know if this helps but you can load the Textures with Modo like if you would create a normal Modomaterial. Then you can use the Modo-Filepath in an Octane Override. The great Advantage is that you can use the Consolidate Szene command from the File menu to Save all your Textures with the SceneFile in one Folder. Also if a Texture is missing modo notices and informs you about it.

I hope this helps

Thanks - yes, this is the recommended approach for linking in texturemaps and other assets.

Thanks Hesekiel and Paul,

My problem is that modo use the ''old'' path to charge the textures, but i want it use the new one, because one day the link will be broken.
The consolidate scene don't seem to work, there is no copy of the textures ...

Maybe this is your problem:

I use this function a lot and never had problems with it. But maybe it's a bug!
