Is there a way to include/exclude meshes from Area Lights in Octane? The standard light linking doesn't translate from modo to octane. Is there a possiblity of adding light linking to some newer releases of Octane?

Hi - Octane Render Layers (which are also implemented in the Modo plugin) may give you part of what you want, however in general, I think that light linking is not going to be easy in a physically accurate renderer like Octane, because excluding a specific light from a specific mesh creates a physically inaccurate result.
